Author Guidelines

Carefully read the submission guidelines as follows:

A. General Requirements
When submitting a manuscript, the author is obliged to register on the system. General provisions used in the submitted journal are the suitability of the topic of the journal within the scope of mechanical engineering. Every manuscript sent will pass the review stage (review) from relevant experts in their fields. The manuscript that has been reviewed will be sent back to the author for repairs when requested. Manuscripts that have been corrected or have been approved by reviewers will be published in the nearest edition. If you are experiencing a problem with the submission of your manuscript, please send your manuscript to the email: [email protected]

The minimum standard requirements of Jurnal Polimesin must be:

  • Written in English.
  • The length of the submitted paper is at least 5 pages and no more than 10 pages. Editors will be evaluated if the papers need more than 10 pages.
  • Use a tool such as Zotero, Mendeley, or EndNote for reference management and formatting, and choose the IEEE style
  • Make sure that your paper is prepared using the manuscript template. Download here manuscript template


B. Manuscript Structure
STANDARD PAPERS. Manuscripts provided in A4 paper.

The manuscript must be prepared and suggested present follow the structure:

Title Page
1. A concise and informative title.
2. A list of author names, affiliation(s), and e-mail addresses.
3. The name, complete mailing address (including e-mail address, telephone, and fax numbers) of the corresponding author.

Abstract. The abstract should outline the purpose of the paper and the main results, conclusions, and recommendations, using clear, factual, numbered statements. Authors should follow a formula in which point 1 sets the context and need for the work; point 2 indicates the approach and methods used; the next 2-3 points outline the main results; and the last point identifies the wider implications and relevance of renewable energy. The whole abstract should be readily understandable to all the Journal's readers and must not exceed 250 words.

Keywords. A list in alphabetical order, not exceeding five words or short phrases, separated with semicolons (;)

Introduction. State the reason for the work, the context, background, state of the art of the research, and aims of the research.

Methods. Methods. In this section, the researcher must explain the type of research and research approach used, data collection techniques, data analysis techniques, and research tools or instruments. Place of study, location, and time. Explain in detail so that it can be understood by the reader.

Results and Discussions. State the results of experimental or modelling work, drawing attention to important details in tables and figures. Point out the importance of the results and place them in the context of previous studies and about the application of the work.

Acknowledgements. If authors refer to themselves as recipients of assistance or funding. Do not acknowledge Editors by name.

Conclusion. The main conclusions of the experimental work should be presented. The contribution of the work to the scientific community and its economic implications should be emphasized.

References. The contents of this script should correspond to the references mentioned at the end of this paper. The references should mention the name of the writer and the year of publication, followed by the number of references. Example: ...[1]. References should be written in the IEEE style without a section number. Every reference should be written in the reference section due to the order of each reference in this paper. The minimum number of references is 15

Manuscript Submission
Manuscript submission in this journal proceeds online, and the author will be guided stepwise by the journal system through uploading the manuscript file. The manuscript submitted should be in Word document format that can be edited for the double-blind peer review purpose.

Review of manuscripts
Every submitted paper is independently reviewed by at least two peer reviewers. Decision for publication, amendment, or rejection is based upon their reports/recommendations. If two or more reviewers consider a manuscript unsuitable for publication in this journal, a statement explaining the basis for the decision will be sent to the authors within three months of the submission date.

Revision of manuscripts
Manuscripts sent back to the authors for revision should be returned to the editor without delay. Revised manuscripts can be sent to the editorial office through the Online Submission Interface. The revised manuscripts returned later than three months will be considered as new submissions.

After acceptance
Corresponding authors will receive an e-mail [email protected] with a link to our online proofing system, allowing annotation and correction of proofs online. The environment is similar to MS Word: in addition to editing text, you can also comment on figures/tables and answer questions from the Copy Editor, Layout Editor, and Proofreader. It is important to ensure that all corrections are sent back to us in one communication. Please check carefully before replying, as inclusion of any subsequent corrections cannot be guaranteed.

Author Fees

This journal charges the following author fees.

REGULAR - ARTICLE PUBLICATION FEE (RAPF): 1800000.00 (IDR)

Terms & Conditions:
1. The fee is a main part of the publication cost.
2. The fee is transferred shortly after the submission acceptance status, following the review stages.
3. The receipt of the fee transfer must be noted with the first four digits of the submission ID

Background:
The RAPF is to cover all the publication costs, including editorial handling, reviews, copyediting, layout editing, and proofreading.

However, in a rare case, if you do not have the funds to pay the fee, you have the option to waive any fees by including the reasons the editor receives, and of course, this is only given to manuscripts rated as excellent by the editor.
