Implementasi Mesin Pencacah Rumput Serbaguna Untuk Pembuatan Pupuk Organik Upaya Mengatasi Kelangkaan Pupuk Pada Petani Jahe Kelompok Tani Makmur

Kelangkaan pupuk dan tingginya biaya pengadaan menjadi kendala utama bagi Kelompok Tani Makmur di Kanagarian Sako, Kelurahan Batu Gadang, sehingga menurunkan produktivitas pertanian, khususnya budidaya jahe. Program pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan memberikan solusi melalui penerapan mesin pencacah rumput serbaguna untuk produksi pupuk organik. Kegiatan utama meliputi penyerahan mesin, uji coba fungsional, dan pelatihan intensif pembuatan pupuk organik kepada anggota kelompok tani. Hasil uji coba menunjukkan bahwa mesin ini mampu memproses bahan organik secara cepat dan efisien, dengan hasil cacahan yang optimal untuk kompos. Pelatihan berjalan interaktif, dengan petani antusias mempelajari cara memanfaatkan limbah organik yang tersedia di lahan sekitar. Penggunaan mesin ini menjadikan proses produksi pupuk lebih hemat biaya, mengurangi ketergantungan pada pupuk kimia, dan meningkatkan ketersediaan pupuk murah secara berkelanjutan. Program ini berhasil mendukung peningkatan hasil panen jahe sekaligus mendorong kemandirian petani dalam penyediaan pupuk organik yang ramah lingkungan untuk mitra kelompok Tani makmur.
