Pengembangan Produk dan Strategi Pengemasan Makrame Berdaya Jual: Pengabdian Berkelanjutan untuk Dharma Wanita Politeknik Negeri Lhokseumawe

This community service program aims to improve the creativity and skills of members of the Dharma Wanita Persatuan Polytechnic Negeri Lhokseumawe (DWP PNL) through macrame handicraft training. Identified partner issues included limited technical skills, minimal knowledge of packaging, and a lack of product marketing strategies. The implementation method included preparation, hands-on training, independent mentoring, and evaluation of results. Ten housewives, members of DWP PNL, participated. Preliminary results indicate an increase in participants' ability to master basic macrame techniques and produce simple products. The enthusiasm of participants and the positive response from partners indicate that this activity is able to foster entrepreneurial motivation while opening up opportunities for home businesses. Follow-up plans focus on packaging training and the development of creative economic enterprises within DWP PNL. This program is expected to be sustainable through mentoring, utilization of social media, and collaboration with MSMEs, thus improving the skills, creativity, and economic independence of partners.
