History

The Jurnal Teknologi as a multidisciplinary peer-reviewed journal  published by Unit Penelitian dan Pengabdian Masyarakat (P2M) which now upgraded to Pusat Penelitian dan Pengabdian Masyarakat (P3M). The Jurnal Teknologi was the first journal published in Politeknik Negeri Lhokseumawe that aims to disseminate lecturer's research publication. The first edition of the journal was published in year 2001. The submission of the articles was offline submission. 

However, due to the increase of the Department’s journals which were published in the core of their department's subjects in Politeknik Negeri Lhokseumawe, and the misinformation regarding a multidisciplinary journal which made Jurnal Teknologi stop its publication since volume 16 (1) April 2016 edition. 

Now with the new spirit of publication, Jurnal Teknologi starts to publish new articles in the field of technology and engineering sciences.  The Editorial Board welcomes original research reports and state-of-the-art reviews in the broadly defined field of technology and engineering science from researchers from academic institutions, industries, practitioners, and relevant agencies.

Moreover, the journal improves its cover by adding an English name, Politeknik Negeri Lhokseumawe logo, and ISSN online which means that the article's submission was conducted through online submission.

Furthermore, the journal now receives research and review articles and the number of articles in each volume increased to 8 articles.
