This science and technology application activity aims to improve the skills (skills) Lecturers of in conducting scientific research and publications. As time changes, lecturers are required the Department of Commerce in the Lhokseumawe State Polytechnic to be more productive and innovative to be more productive in conducting scientific research and publications in SINTA accredited national journals or reputable international journals. Many lecturers do not yet know the technique of writing articles must be in accordance with the template, mendeley citations, the use of graphs and diagrams, and other tools such as designing drawings and flowcharts. In addition, the lecturer also did not know yet the technique of choosing a valid SJR journal index on the Scimago journal & country rank link according to the field of study and the destination country. Including with the basic restrictions that must be considered by the author. The training was attended by 13 lecturers from the Department of Commerce of the Lhokseumawe State Polytechnic. The method of implementing service includes the method of oration and demonstration. Partners are guided directly by the instructor in the integrated workshop event. The results of the activity showed that almost all participants (lecturers) were able to search for reputable international journals free from predator categories. In addition, partners can also operate online citation techniques and template and cite press techniques. Some constraints appear to be lack of understanding of business research methods, prospects and research opportunities, and some of them appear to still have limited ability to use onlinebased information systems. This community service activity strongly supports the aims and objectives of Law Number 12 of 2012 concerning Higher Education and the Ministry of Research and Technology Regulation No. 18 of 2018 concerning Research.
