Pengaruh Waktu Perendaman dan Waktu Operasi Terhadap Rendemen Minyak Atsiri Gaharu

This study aims to see the effect of the optimum soaking time and hydrodistillation time to get the best quality of agarwood essential oil. The immersion treatment is done by varying the immersion time which consists of 14,16,18,20 and 22 days. From this treatment, it is known that the optimum time for agarwood immersion is 18 days because of the immersion water which starts to become more acidic over time, making the agarwood powder corroded or commonly called the hydration effect. The best time to produce a lot of yield is 10 hours because the longer the raw material undergoes a heating process, the diffusion process increases so that the hydrodistilation process becomes more optimal.
