Abstract

centers offer various indoor exercise activities aimed at improving physical performance and health. However, many challenges arise, especially for beginners who are just starting their  routines. Many beginners feel confused and uncertain about how to use the  equipment and often do not receive adequate attention from trainers. To address these challenges, this research aims to develop an effective solution through the application of Augmented Reality (AR) technology in the form of a  guide app specifically designed for beginners. The method used in this research involves the implementation of AR with -based tracking techniques to present interactive animated videos that provide clear and easy-to-follow visual guidance on the proper use of  equipment, such as the leg press machine, chest press, shoulder press, and others. This research was tested by distributing questionnaires to beginners using the application. Based on the results, measured using a Likert scale of 1-5, the application received an average score of 4.3 in categories such as "Strongly Agree," "Very Realistic," "Very Satisfied," and "Very Helpful." The results indicate that this application can be considered an effective solution in addressing the various challenges faced by beginners.
