Journal of Welding Technology is a peer-reviewed journal that publishes original and high-quality research papers in all areas of Welding Technology. The editorial team aims to publish high quality and highly applied research and innovation that has the potential to be widely disseminated, taking into consideration the potential Welding Technology that it could generate. The Journal is published twice a year in Juny and December.

This journal and editorial team are prepared and lead by several members of Mechancial Engineering Departement,  and published by Politeknik Negeri Lhokseumawe, in collaboration with Asosiasi Pengelasan Indonesia-Indonesian Welding Society (API-IWS) which was agreed in an MoU

This journal has been accredited by National Journal Accreditation (ARJUNA) Managed by Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education, Republic Indonesia with Grade 4th (Sinta 4) since Vol.2, No.1, 2020-2024, according to the decree No. 1429/E5.3/HM.01.01/2022.
